Floating off the coast of Malibu, this midcentury modern island captures the unique quality of the California sun. Pacifica is a cantilevered white stone square, post and beam with terrazzo and travertine, floating above local plant life and shimmering reflection pools. At it’s core, a courtyard where tall featherlike grasses grow like the headdresses of the natives.
